This will be the first installment in a series of short films, chronicling some of my shooting sessions with Natalie and other models. I chose to show this pre-session part of the event because I thought that Natalie was brilliant in how she prepared her hair and her make-up. But more than this, I wanted to bring across her great personality and joie de vivre. She proved to be a great model and I couldnât resist capturing a few images of her in the dressing room as she was preparing. It took me the better part of my week-end to create this short film of Natalie Mai as she prepares for our shoot of last March. Of course all the raw video was already in existence. It was shot by me and my wife, artist, Mary Bogdan. This weekend was just the editing and assembling of the raw footage. Today's woman has earned her equality with man. So it's time for men to get into the kitchen. Of course with bate like Kerri, it would be a pleasure to share kitchen chores. The kitchen session with Kerri was not as easy as it might look. The session was video recorded to produce this short film. Photographer SoI had to consider the lighting for the video as well. With the window light streaming in behind her: "I wanted to equalize the interior ambient light so it will look natural and not too harsh. I placed a single light far to her left facing away from her This was probably 12 feet away and still about 5 feet from the wall that acted as a reflector.
